The Amazon Rainforest - my call for action

The Amazon rainforest, located in South America, the largest-known tropical rainforest is home to more than 400 types of mammals, more than 40000 plant species, 1300 types of birds, 378 types of reptiles, more than 400 types of amphibians and 3000 types of freshwater fish.

This home to such rich fauna and flora of 5.5 million square km is slowly disappearing. The Amazon hosts thousands of rare plant species that can cure severe illnesses like cancer and is called the "lungs of the earth" by providing 20% of world`s oxygen and regulating our climate.

The deforestation in the rainforest is happening fast putting at danger the lives of all its inhabitants. We need to put a stop to this.

Please understand that if our rainforests are gone, the life on Earth as we know it might as well be gone. The world when we grow up may look way different.

Donating to save the rainforests, to replant trees is one of the ways we can make a difference.

If we all do this together then we can save the Amazon rainforest.

Care about nature as I do, follow my website to see what can be done to stop deforestation.

Join my forest fellowship!!
